The Church hosted a Christian Aid presentation by Mandy Loveder on 21/5/2006.

Mandy told how the Ethiopian Evangelical Church  use umbrellas in all their processions

and how a donation of just £10.00 pays for one child's basic education

The children tied dream tickets (prayers of hope) under the umbrellas

The umbrellas were placed at the Altar
